Vacation

I haven’t really been doing much lately. I have been taking a vacation from my vacation, as you could say. I’ve been hanging out and visiting relatives. I have spent a few days in Tel Aviv, where I went to the beach. I also managed to see the movie Bruno, which was absolutely hysterical.

I went back to the army enlistment office to have a meeting with the lone soldier department. Amongst other things they will be assisting me to find a place to live. I also received my official enlistment paper indicating that I enlist on August 20th! The first 3 and a half months will be an ulpan (learning Hebrew).

I saw this note a while back attached to a pole inside the old city of Jerusalem. I got a kick out of this because in Israel there are stray cats EVERYWHERE. I have no idea who would keep one as a pet. This would be like asking people in Canada if they have lost their pet rat.
